Alpha´s curvy bullied human mate

Not only did I have problems in the pack, but I had to also deal with a human who was starting to interfere with the wolf business while being inordinately close to my mate. I also had to put some loser werewolves in their place who were trying to bully my mate.

"Is that clear, or do you need more motivation? Stay away from this town!" I said as I punched the last of the men, leaving his face broken and swollen. The man couldn't even reply but bowed down at my feet. Either that or he couldn't get up. "I don't know what your business is here in this town, but I'd recommend you leave immediately," I said, leaving them a few steps away from the woods, badly wounded.

"Oh, and since you guys are so into gossiping and talking about humans, you can start telling the other werewolves that there is an Alpha here, powerful like no other... and that if you didn't want to get in trouble with me, didn't set foot anywhere near these borders," I warned them as I walked back to the restaurant.

Then I saw that man again, the bartender.

By the Goddess, this man just didn't understand! The bartender looked at me in horror and took a step back as I approached. I realized I must have looked terrible.

"You... those men..."

"I told you to stay out of my way and mind your own business," I said, walking past him.

"But what's going on in the town...."

"I'll take care of it," I snapped at him.

"And how do I know you're not involved? You're following Penny..." he started to speak when I turned to him and stood very close to him.

"Stay away from her."

"Don't hurt her. She's a good girl..." he said, frightened. I gave him credit for having the nerve to approach me.

"I would never hurt her... and I don't even want to see you near her," I warned him as I pushed him to the ground and continued on my way.

I waited for my mate outside, thinking about how to tell her that we had to go back to the pack. She hated the idea, of course. I prepared my speech, which sounded pretty good in my head.

But as soon as I had her close to me, I felt like everything slipped out of my mind, and I was just happy that she was there.

But the moment I started telling her about going back to Moonstone, I could feel her fear and despair.

But that wasn't enough. Now, her brother collapsed in front of us, severely wounded.

"Luther!" she cried in desperation as she ran to him.

"The house... Naomi..." he said as she hugged him and cuddled him in her lap.

"Luke, come here!" I said to the other twin through the mind link, and in a minute the boy is on our side, looking worriedly at his brother.

"What happened?"

"I have to find out. Stay here and protect Penelope," I said and immediately ran to the house while communicating with Roger.

As soon as I arrived at the house, the sight was terrifying. There was blood outside the house, and they seemed to have broken in and smashed windows and the door. I saw that they destroyed the security cameras. They came for her. There was no doubt in my mind that they wanted to take my mate! I heard a faint moan and ran to the entrance to see Naomi on the stairs, badly wounded.

"Alpha..."

"Naomi! By the goddess!" She had deep slashes on her arms, and I could see a lot of blood. Someone did this to her. It must have been with Wolfsbane. They had a goal.

"Did they torture you?" I asked worriedly as I pressed on the worst wound.

"Yes, Alpha... but I didn't say anything," she explained, sobbing.

"You're going to be fine, Naomi!" I said, carrying her carefully.

As soon as I put her down, I turned into a wolf and quickly started sniffing around, using all my senses. There was nothing else, just a few wolves in the distance.

I transformed again, pulled on a pair of jeans, and saw Roger approaching.

"For heaven's sake!" he said, surprised.

I explained to him what had happened, and we carried Naomi into the house. As we entered, I could see that it was a mess. My mate's little house was destroyed. Photos and mementos were on the floor, and glass, flowers, and almost everything else were scattered as if a hurricane had passed through.

"What is this... what happened?" I heard my mate's distraught voice and went straight to her.

"I'm so sorry, my love... they broke our whole security system and..." I didn't even know what to say to her. I saw her crying in despair as she saw her belongings shattered. When I looked at Naomi, Penelope was horrified. "Oh! Naomi!" she cried in anguish. We ran back and forth carrying hot water and clothes. Luther's condition was under control, but Naomi needed more care.

"They attacked us out of the blue, they were rogues and other wolves... and they weren't alone... they had vampires... they were talking about the council," Luther said.

"They must be the same ones that were at the farm," Roger said.

"I chased them into the woods, while Naomi tried to sneak away to warn you. They weakened us with wolfsbane, and we couldn't communicate with you." "Damn!" I shouted in frustration. This was getting out of hand.

We were distracted at the restaurant by that bunch of stupid werewolves to keep us from coming here. They wanted information. Penelope couldn't stop crying, and I hugged her, holding her close to my chest. More of my wolves arrived. The perimeter was secured, and we searched for more clues. We all began to clean up the house. My mate stayed with Naomi and Luther, completely discouraged.

I had to ask for help. I am a powerful Alpha, but I needed to start sounding the alarm, I knew who was behind all these attacks. I talked to my men, and also to Naomi. I already had an idea of what had happened. "Alpha Asher, thank you for coming."

"We are all here to help each other," he told me as we walked near the forest.

"First, I want to tell you something I've only told a few people. I found my mate... and she is a human from this town, Penelope," I say.

"First things first. Congratulations, Alpha. A mate is a blessing, no matter who she is. But I guess it has brought trouble," he said curiously. "That's right."

"Was Marco really that bold?" he asked me as I gave him more details about what happened.

"Sadly, yes. Today, my mate almost lost her brother and one of my warriors. They tortured her and asked her only one question whether Penelope was my mate. They wanted confirmation that I have a human mate". "They will use her against you," he said.

"Pretty sure. my mate's brother heard them mention the Council. They will approve Marco's proposal," I explained.

"Then we have to prepare, Alpha. We have to summon the other Alphas and packs."

"Exactly. There are also strange movements on one of the farms in town. We think they've already started to take over some of this territory... and that there's a special interest in taking human hostages." "Dammit!" exclaimed Asher in frustration.

"Take care of your Luna, Nate. I'll organize everything. If Marco and the Council think they can take advantage of this... they are dead wrong," he reassured me. I was glad to have the support of an Alpha like him. I started to walk back to the house when he stopped me.

"Nate... I have a vampire friend who can help us. I know it might seem unorthodox, but he wouldn't interfere with our business. He would just help us with the other creatures Marco is messing with. He is a good man and a friend," he said, seeing my expression. I didn't like the idea, but I was desperate.

"I think... I need all the help I can get," I said, and he nodded.

The next day, Michael came over to check everything again and take Naomi away to the pack. I had a small meeting with my men.

"We are securing all of Moonstone's borders, no fear of exaggeration," Michael explained all the strategies to secure Moonstone.

"Excellent. I want us to also check out the farm as well. Go in quietly and see what's going on, bring back as much evidence against Marco as you can," I said.

"What if the Council is involved in this?" asked Roger. It was a good question.

"Then we'll have to confront them in front of the rest of the packs," I explained. We formulated a plan. But for all this to work, something had to happen first-Penelope needed to come with me to the pack.

I found my mate sitting on the bed with a lost expression on her face. So much had happened, and it was all my fault.

"Penelope...I'm so sorry for what happened. I know it's because you're my mate. And I made you a promise, but I have to break it. I need you to come with me to Moonstone. It will be safe there and we can all protect you..." and I could see her panicked face.

"No! Nothing will make me go back there!"

"Penelope..."

"I won't!" she screamed, displaying an anger I'd never seen before. It was as if something inside her broke... and she was unstoppable.
