The Billionaire Daddies

Chapter 9. Finding truth

Curiosity kills the cat

But bright minds rarely care - Percy

The beautiful Jacqueline can easily stir my emotion. I was worried last night when I couldn't call her, I know I had the right number. Then it occurs to me that maybe she'd fallen asleep. But when morning comes, I start to get worried as she hadn't answered my texts and calls.

Two hours later I was upset with her thinking that she was ignoring me and I was such a fool for thinking last night meant something for her. Nearing lunchtime I was moody and borderline annoying making Grady drag me out of the villa to shake off my attitude.

The afternoon air was nice, it was our second day in Capri. We were having a break from our work when Grady suggested going to Capri saying he wanted to check out a new property for our vacation home, hence the Capri waterfront villa where we stay at.

"I told you last night that it was a bad idea, you should stay away from her." Grady remind me for the hundredth time, while I kept holding onto my phone, keeping it hidden in my pants pocket not wanting Grady to tease me again for looking at the screen checking out a text or a call from Jacqueline.

But then out of nowhere, I saw her, sitting alone at the outside dining area of a cozy little restaurant with several shopping bags by her feet. She was shocked, but we ended up having lunch together then took her back to our place. She was pleasured hours later and agreed to spend the night with us.

Grady was shocking me with his interest, it has been a while since we find someone who we like mutually, wanted to share her, and couldn't keep our hands off her. Somehow we clicked, somehow we both wanted to please her. And tonight we're going to take her to our bed and satisfy her.

"I need to go back to Ghazi first, tell him about my plan. I'm here on a full week date with him, I can't just ditch him."

I could see Grady clenching his jaw in irritation already, he had told me that he didn't like the fact that Jacqueline is an escort. That's why I was surprised when he still wanted to be with her.

"We'll pay him," Grady interrupts her explanation.

"If this is how you're going to proceed, I won't do it." Jacqueline looked offended, annoyed, and gathering her stuff already. "I'm here working, I already told you guys that I'm an escort. He's my sugar daddy for the week, don't..." she shushed my brother when he was about to object. The little minx looked like she hated him, but I could see a tiny flash of disappointment in her eyes. Just for a split second.

"Come here," I pulled her to my front and caressed her beautiful sweet face. "Would you let me come with you?" I asked carefully, not wanting to let her go just yet.

"No, Ghazi doesn't like strangers in the villa. He paid an obscene amount of money for the kind of privacy he needs. You know his preference in companion, and he has an image to uphold."

I nodded and kissed her forehead. "Let me know when you're ready to leave, I'll come to pick you up."

"Percy, his place is a couple of houses away. I'm okay with walking there by myself."

That's not what I was worried about, I worry that she won't come back. I didn't want her to back down on our plan.

"Amuse us, we live in the fifties." I teased with what she said when we first noticed her and she finally cracked a smile.

"You both do, are you sure you're not seventy?" She looked and joked back at me, completely ignoring Grady, and I could tell that he was pissed without even looking at him.

"Let me walk you to his place, then I'll leave you and wait for your call here, how about that?"

"That'll be perfect, you can be that gentleman from the fifties and carry my shopping bags and backpack." Her chin was tilted lightly as she haughtily said her reply. My mind was busy thinking ways to wipe that smirk off her face when I was walking her to Ghazi's place.

It looked like a quiet and cozy villa from the outside, but then my eyes noticed the two guards leaning casually in front of the entrance. Normal people would think they're just normal bodyguards for celebrities, passerby would probably imagine that a famous someone is staying at the villa. But I know these kinds of men, despite their normal clothes, their shoes, their wristwatches down to the little earpiece screams out hired professionals. And when they noticed me and give me a once over I know they were the expensive kinds.

"What's Ghazi's last name? I asked meters away from the guards.

"Taheri, he's an Iranian businessman." She shrugged. "Look, I'll call you, okay. I don't know what Ghazi wants to do for tonight." She stopped and I gave her her shopping bags and backpack.

"Okay, we'll be waiting." I smile and put my hands in my pocket, looked at the guys for a second, and waited until she enter the house then walked back to our villa.

The walk took a couple of minutes and Grady was waiting with a glass of his favorite Bourbon when I entered the lounge.

"We need to check out this Ghazi guy, last name Taheri, there are two paid professionals guarding his villa and they gave me a very indiscreet once over. They're the hitman kind."

"You think he's some kind of a bad guy?" Grady jerks up from his seat and grabs his laptop from the secret wall compartment behind the bar.

My moody geeky brother is a strange human being, the guy has tats and piercings yet he's been having more mood changes towards Jacqueline without him even noticing. I know his genius mind was miles ahead already, thinking hundreds of different scenarios as to why Ghazi would have paid professionals guarding his villa.

I was still drinking my bourbon when he turned his Stealth MacBook Pro and show me his primary findings on Ghazi Taheri. The man's family is involved in black market gun selling activities, the Taheri is linked with several wealthy Iranian families and has been under their government watched list for decades. Knowing the kind of business they're in, the government was the last thing he needs to worry about. He was smart to keep guards on holidays in Capri, and now I look at my brother and warn him not to interfere.

"She could be in danger."

"I've done my homework, brother, I've checked out her agency, their legal team, they even have their own security team. I've never seen such dedication set up in an escort agency." I work on his MacBook, tapping my password into our internal database network then downloading my findings and showing them to him.

It shows everything, her previous dates, her payment, NDAs, even her portfolios which contain pictures of her half-naked beauty, leaving nothing to the imagination.

I laughed when Grady was focusing on her pictures rather than my findings of the escort company and what they have on Ghazi.

"If you're done memorizing her features for your spank bank, you can get your eyes back to reading what Jacqueline's escort company has on Ghazi's file." I refill my glass and took a sip of the expensive Bourbon.

Giving Grady time to explore my findings, I walk to the big windows of the living room villa and look at Ghazi's property a couple of houses down. Last night I found out that the man owns that villa under a different name, he actually owns a couple more in Capri. He surely loves his vacation homes, maybe he desperately needs vacationing from his gun-selling family or maybe he's laundering money with the rents. I was sure my second thought was it and just like Grady, I was not happy with thinking that Jacqueline is in the middle of it all.

"He seemed like the nice one in the family, parents gone, a couple of uncles and aunts from each side of the family,"

"Yep, and Jacqueline has been on and off with him for over six months now, they both should know each other by now." I finished my drink and decided to get my laptop and work, getting my mind off of Jacqueline.

We both work in silence, I know he was still digging deep on Jacqueline and Ghazi, but I was browsing on our next project. The little housing project, suburban feel house with the luxury of a well-maintained golf course at their back yard. The opulent clubhouse is in the finishing stage, I was looking at the photos from the developer when my phone buzzed. Jacqueline.

"Showtime," I announced to Grady. There was a frown on his face, yep, he must've been reading about Jacqueline's family.

"I'll put away our MacBooks and start on dinner. You go pick her up."

I hesitate for a second, I looked into his eyes, he was still wary but there was a determination when he glanced my way told me to go. I decided to talk to him later and go to pick her up. Hopefully tonight she'll brighten him up, my brother deserves some happiness in his life.
