Chapter 104 Going All Out
Allison shot Howard a frosty look. She knew his tactics and that he could pull it off, but she was naturally defiant. No way she was going to bow down to him.
"Alright, name your price. What do I need to do to get you to install all five missiles?" Howard asked.
Allison eyed him, thinking he was all bark and no bite.
"Installing missiles is a dangerous gig. What kind of deal do you think I'd make? Your Eaton Manor means zilch to me. If you want my help, hand over this yacht, and I'll do it. Deal?" she said. Howard's eyebrows shot up in surprise. He clearly didn't expect her to want the yacht.
"You really want this yacht?" he asked again, just to be sure.
Allison nodded. "It might not look like much, but it's worth ten of your estates. Am I wrong?"
Howard was floored. He couldn't believe she knew the yacht's secret.
Allison went on, "Mr. Eaton, you must be wondering why I'm so fixated on this yacht! Because I designed its central program. Small world, huh?"
Howard was stunned and turned to his butler, who looked equally shocked. After a moment, the butler reluctantly nodded. Seeing this, Howard angrily kicked him to the ground. "Idiot, why didn't you tell me!" The butler was at a loss. He had actually forgotten who designed the yacht's central program.
"If you want this yacht, we'll talk after you finish the job. Take them ashore!" Howard ordered, trying to cover his embarrassment.
Allison didn't argue; she just pulled Felix and the others along. A car was waiting outside, but just as they were about to get in, Allison spotted a familiar pair of eyes. Her heart skipped a beat, and she suddenly shoved Felix hard. He stumbled and was grabbed and tossed aside.
"Get them all!" Carl's voice rang out, snapping Felix back to reality.
He yelled, "Carl, save us!"
"Shut up before I smack you!" Carl's patience was wearing thin with Felix's stupidity. If it weren't for him, Allison wouldn't have walked into Howard's trap. The more Carl thought about it, the angrier he got.
Allison quickly untied the ropes around her and shielded Sabrina as they ran towards Carl. Suddenly, a car roared to life and sped towards her.
Allison only had time to push Sabrina away before the screeching of brakes and a loud crash echoed through the air as two cars collided.
Allison wasn't hit because the car came from an angle. But the car that saved her was wrecked from the impact.
She slowly stood up, staring at the car with its hood smashed in. Then she bolted over.
When she reached the driver's window and saw who was inside, Allison felt her blood run cold. "Alexander, why are you here? Are you crazy? You'll die!"
Alexander, bloodied and trapped in the driver's seat, managed a smile when he saw her. "Allison, as long as you're okay..." He could only get a few words out before he started coughing up blood.

James rushed over, panic written all over his face. "Mr. Carter, don't do this to me. Someone call an ambulance!" His voice was shaky, tears streaming down his face.
Allison's tears fell as she desperately tried to stop Alexander's bleeding, but there was just too much blood. "Alexander, don't die on me. I can't lose you!"
She cried, her hands covered in his blood. When she wiped her tears, she smeared blood on her face. Alexander, with great effort, reached out and wiped the blood off her face.
He said weakly, "Your face is a mess. When will you stop making me worry? It's like I'm destined to always be taking care of you."
Hearing this, Allison cried even harder.
Carl walked over, feeling a mix of emotions. He signaled for someone to open the car door and lift Alexander out. When the ambulance arrived, Allison was performing CPR on Alexander because he had suddenly gone into shock. "Get the OR ready! He's in bad shape and needs surgery now!" she shouted.
Carl had already contacted the hospital.
Cleo, seeing the scene, was also in tears.

Allison followed them to the hospital. While Alexander was being examined, she went to change into surgical clothes. But for some reason, her hands wouldn't stop shaking during disinfection. It was the first time she felt this kind of fear facing surgery since becoming a doctor.
She gripped the sink, her shoulders trembling.
"Gaia, are you okay? Alexander's done with the exam. The director says he needs surgery immediately, but the hospital's doctors can't perform it!" The person informing Allison was a researcher from Genesis Creations, also a medical doctor. Taking a deep breath, Allison splashed cold water on her face and slapped her cheeks to bring some color back. "Kirk, assist me in the surgery. I'll take the lead!"
Kirk Gutierrez nodded. Assisting was no problem, but it was the first time he saw Allison, the rock of their team, looking so vulnerable.
"Gaia, if you feel overwhelmed, let me take over. Don't worry. I'm great at surgery. Alexander's badly hurt, but he got here in time. There's still hope!"
Allison looked at him, determination in her eyes. "Yes, there's still hope. There has to be!"
After mentally preparing herself, Allison quickly entered the operating room. Her expression was complex as she faced Alexander, but as soon as she picked up the scalpel, she was all business. She skillfully began the surgery. Alexander had multiple organ ruptures, and there was blood in his chest and abdominal cavities, making the surgery incredibly tough.
With the blood bank running low, Carl and the Genesis Creations team donated blood to Alexander. Without it, he wouldn't have made it through the surgery.
Even with Allison's top-notch skills, it took her eight hours to pull Alexander back from the brink. Her legs were numb from standing.
"The surgery was flawless, Gaia. You were incredible!" Kirk praised.
