"Lady Summers, may we know the reason for your sudden visit?" Daniel asked. His sudden question snapped Xena back from her stupor.

"Didn't Felix tell you?" Xena replied.

Daniel briefly glanced at Felix before answering, "What was he supposed to tell us? We're here for a meeting while Felix is out running errands. Don't tell me you're here just because you're upset that we didn't tell you beforehand we were coming to your territory."

The nine chiefs from the Dragon Alliance were having a meeting in Avesburgh. However, Xena, the goddess of war, had heard nothing about it. She felt like a failure at that. However, by this point, Xena did not need to ask any other questions. She had already heard enough to confirm that Felix was indeed associated with the Dragon Alliance.

"I'm sorry for interrupting. I'll be leaving now," Xena said. She turned, intending to leave.

Belle immediately went out after her with a look of confusion on her face.

"Milady, only the chief of the Disciplinary Hall, Daniel Rush is in there. Aren't you going to ask the other people in there?"

How could this prove that Felix was related to Dragon Alliance? Wasn't this going a little too easy on him?

"The other nine people in the room are the nine chiefs of Dragon Alliance. What more should I even ask?"

What? Bella was shocked. Were all nine chiefs of Dragon Alliance gathered in that one single room? That had to be a joke, right?

Belle sighed in relief just a while later. "Thank god they're all just here for a meeting. Otherwise, I'd have thought that they were here for Felix."

Xena scoffed and said, "You're overthinking things. If that was really the case, then Felix would have at least had to be a deputy chief or something. But do you even think that it's remotely possible?"

"Of course not! Who does he think he is?" Belle mocked with a loud sneer. She suddenly asked, "So, milady, now that you know Felix is from Dragon Alliance, what do you think of him?"

She was worried that Xena would change her mind about Felix once she learned about this. After all, she and Felix were still engaged to each other.

"Nothing has changed! I never thought much about him, and I never will. Also, he's nothing but a tiny errand boy for Dragon Alliance. Does being a member make him worthy

Belle sighed in relief. It was just as she thought. Although they had both been taken aback by Felix's identity, it still didn't manage to change anything.

Half an hour later, the nine chiefs had already left. Kane then walked into the presidential

suite.

"Mr. Zeller, we've found her."

Felix couldn't afford to delay looking for the woman from earlier. Curtis still needed a cure, and he had to act as quickly as possible. Also, if the woman was from out of town, then there was a probability that she was leaving today as well. "Where is she?" Felix asked.

"In room 1302. It's a business suite."

Anyone who could afford to book a business suite in a grand hotel like this was definitely someone rich and well-to-do.

"Got it."

Kane passed a black case over to Felix. He had just told one of his men to withdraw five million dollars from the bank in cash and put them in the case. Felix then left with it.

He reached the door to room 1302 and pressed the doorbell. The door was opened by a crack with the chain still secured to the lock. It was obvious that the person was being

cautious.

"Who are you looking for?"

Felix plastered a smile on his face, trying to look as harmless as possible.

"Hi, miss. I just need to ask you something. If you're worried, then we can talk right here.'

With that, Felix opened the case, revealing all of the cash inside. The woman's mouth fell wide

open when she saw it. She was obviously very shocked.

"W-What is it that you want?"

The woman was very suspicious of Felix, not knowing what he was up to. Why would he suddenly give someone he didn't know a large sum of money? This was something that wouldn't have happened even in the movies! 11
