Chapter Unexpected Encounter 21

Chapter 21
Vincent handed Kelly a pair of slippers. Right after they entered the living room, Kelly hugged him from behind. Her voice was trembling with excitement. "Mr. Lewis... Keep the lights off..."
Vincent had been holding back all night. After she said that, he was instantly aroused. Turning around, he grabbed Kelly's wrist and pulled her to the couch.
"Mr. Lewis..." In the dark, Kelly called out to him in a soft and alluring voice.
Holding her wrists, Vincent listened as she moaned. Yet, it was gradually turning him off.
Noticing that he wasn't making a move, Kelly took the initiative to sit on his lap. She draped her arms
around his neck, trying to press her red lips onto his.
Vincent tightened his grip on her hands. He felt repulsion toward her, but he suppressed it.
Just when Kelly was about to kiss him, the lights in the living room were turned on.
The sudden brightness took both of them aback. Vincent turned his face away slightly, so Kelly's lips ended up on his cheek.
"You little brat, why are you back this late?" An elderly voice sounded.
Before Kelly could react, Vincent shoved her to the side. 'Grandma, why haven't you gone to sleep yet?"
"Sleep?" Anna glanced at Kelly with an unpleasant look, I sleep lightly at my age. I heard noises from downstairs but didn't see anyone, so I thought there was a burglar Vincent got up and walked to the side. He poured himself some water. When he heard her, he raised an eyebrow and chuckled. "So, you came down to catch the burglar?"
Anna snorted. Her eyes landed on Kelly again. Sizing her up, she asked, "Who is this?"
Without waiting for Vincet to answer, Kelly introduced herself eagerly, "Hello, Grandma. I'm Kelly Harrison.
"Oh, alright," Anna replied absentmindedly. She probably did not even remember Kelly's name. She then said, "Why aren't you going home to sleep even though it's already so late?" Going home? Kelly thought to herself, "Wasn't this going to be her home in the future anyway?"
Kelly was quiet for a moment, but Vincent did not say anything to defend her.
She had no choice but to get up. She said, "I'll head back first, Grandma, Mr. Lewis."
She thought that Vincent would ask her to stay since they had not even finished what they were doing. Vincent was probably frustrated because of that too. But he said nothing.
Kelly could only head to the entrance. As she was about to change into her shoes, Vincent spoke up.
Wait."
Kelly was o
overjoyed. She had been waiting for him to ask her to stay.
She heard footsteps approaching her from behind. Delighted, she turned around. But all she saw was Vincent handing her bag to her. "Here."
Disappointed, Kelly took her bag. She pursed her lips and watched him pitifully.
After a moment of silence, Vincent said, "It's late now. I ask Alex to drop you back home."
Kelly was speechless. At this moment, all her hopes were shattered.
She knew that Vincent wouldn't make her stay anymore, so she put on a smile again. "Well... See your
tomorrow, then."
"Okay." Vincent nodded. He didn't walk her out.
After the door was closed, Vincent turned around, only to get flicked in the head.
Anna retracted her hand calmly. With a stern face, she demanded, "Explain what's going on."
