Chapter 35. Interrogation
INTERROGATION
My boss is interested in the waitress and will like to meet her."
"Wow, if you need any more information, free free to ask."
Thanks for your time.
"My beautiful Katie. I will surely find you and punish the ones responsible for your kidnapping." Damon said." Alan. Damon whispered.
"I am here Sir." Alan emerged from the shadows near the garden.
"Have you investigated the authenticity of the information about the waitress?" Damon asked coldly.
Alan felt the chill from his boss. He has countless times seen Damon this cold.
Damon has done many things and gone to extra lengths to be where he is now. The battle in the business world is so unprecedented that only the strongest and most formidable ones end up successful.
If Alan would describe him, he would say he is a cold-blooded demon to his enemies.
The mastermind of this incident will surely get what he deserves.
Need to interrogate her to know who the mastermind of this kidnapping is. Alan explained.
"Take me to her. I want to know who kidnapped my future wife." Damon said coldly. Anger flashed in his eyes.
"Yes boss, have sent the shadow guards to her location to extract her to the safe house in the central area."
In the safe house, Donovan. The waitress was tied to a chair sobbing uncontrollably and pleading.
"Why are you doing this? Why am I here?" The waitress asked. "Please let me go."
"Don't you remember what you have done?"
The captain of the guards asked. "Can't you remember what you did to a guest's drink at the dinner party?"
The waitress shivered after hearing the captain's words.
"I don't know what you are talking about." The waitress denied it. "I am innocent."
"Ohhhh. You think no camera captured you?" The captain said. "Too bad that one of the CCTV cameras captured you spiking the bottle of drink you served her before you immediately left with the full bottle of wine to the restroom to dispose of it."
The waitress shivered even more.
"I-i made an errand to the restroom to recover a guest ring and the wine mistakenly broke. Th-that's why I was there." The waitress replied. "Please just let me go."
"Aren't you afraid that we can go to any length for you to talk?" The captain asked.
"P-Please believe me. I didn't do anything wrong." The waitress was crying.
"You won't tell the truth? Then prepare yourself" the captain said menacingly.
****
"Ahhhh... Please stop." Screams are coming from one of the rooms.
A white Rolls-Royce Phantom pulled over in the compound of the safe house.
Alan. Immediately rushed over to the passenger's side and opened it for his boss to step out of the car.
Alan, lead the way. Damon said.
Sure, Sir.
Alan led his boss inside the safe house where dozens of shadow guards are waiting for their boss's arrival. "How's the interrogation going?" Alan asked.
"Sir, the Captain has started to torture the perpetrator." The shadow guards replied.
"Has she confessed yet?" Damon asked. The coldness was seen in his eyes.
"Sir the waitress has been very stubborn. She's still denying any involvement." The guard answered.
"Ahhhhh...." The maid was screaming.
"Do you want me to stop?" The Captain asked. "Then tell me the truth."
The waitress was crying. "Yes, I'll talk. Please just stop."
The captain stopped torturing the waitress.
"Yes, it was me. Who spiked her drink" she confessed.
"Who told you to do it?"
The waitress was silent again.
"You don't want to tell?"
Damon looked at the girl and asked the captain to stop the interrogation.
"Tell me who told you to spike her drink," Damon said menacingly.
The waitress saw Damon looking at her with evil eyes.
"I-i can't. They will kill me." The waitress stuttered.
"Then are you not scared that I will kill you?" Damon threatened her.
"Alan, give me those pliers" Damon commanded.
Alan took a metal apparatus from the table and gave it to Damon.
"Do you know what this is?" Damon asked.
The waitress looked at the apparatus with fear.
"Hold her down" Damon commanded. Alan and the Captain held the waitress by her arms.
"No, please no. Noooo!" She screamed in pain as her fingers are pulled out.
"You are a loyal servant, I praise you for that," Damon said.
"P-please, just kill me," she said.
"You are willing to give your life for your master? You are loyal indeed." Damon said sarcastically. But I want to ask you, are you willing to give your family's life for your master as well?" The waitress's eyes went wide with surprise.
"I have heard that you have a younger brother. He is seven years old correct?" Your father is a mason and your mother is a nanny right?"
"Please don't hurt my family, they have nothing to do with this." The waitress was crying.
"Please I beg you. Sir" the waitress was begging.
"You hurt my future wife. The future madam of Damon's conglomerate companies"
"I will grant you a chance to work for me in the future if you tell me who the master minds are."
The waitress looked at Damon and said, I know you will kill me after I tell you the mastermind but it means nothing to me.
But can I have your word that you won't touch my family?
"I am a man of my word. If you promise to be loyal to me, you will keep your life after telling me all you know."
The waitress immediately promised to serve him for the rest of her life.
"Sir I only get my orders from Mr. Sparrow directly." He asked me to spike the drink of the lady beside you and he offered to pay me five hundred grand if I succeed.
Since I left the hotel we haven't spoken and I don't know his whereabouts.
Damon became so infuriated that he look at the waitress and said if that's all you have to tell then you have outlived your use.
The waitress's eyes became dim and all hope for her survival faded.
"Sir, I can be of great help in finding her whereabouts."
"How?" Damon asked.
"Since he had no idea I'm captured, he will easily tell me his location and I will go see him for my payment and your boys will tag along in capturing him also." Sir, that should work out as she said.
