Why deceive me??

After saying that, I turned and asked my bestie let's continue our shopping babes.

"Babes, you need to tell me the truth about the whole issue today." My bestie said with a serious look on her face.

"Uhm.... it just so happens that their boss has a thing for me but I'm still considering his proposal." I lied to her because I cannot afford to tell her the truth about my impersonating Katie.

I was so relieved as she did not refute my words.

"Babes, that's a good catch you better accept him early before I disassociate myself from you." She said smiling.

"Ok, captain," I said

We continue our shopping without any more hitch and harassment.

Immediately after we are done shopping and were about to leave the mall, the previous supervisor ran up to us amidst tears pleading.

"Miss, I'm very sorry for my actions earlier. Please miss, I'm the breadwinner of my family and I have a sick mother who needs treatment. Please be magnanimous and help me restore my job." She was so messed up with tears and her voice was breaking because of her cries.

"You should have thought of your predicaments before siding with that moron to bully us," my bestie was so enraged when she spoke.

I was moved to help her not because she's the breadwinner, but because of her sick mother she mentioned.

I saw Alan and the guard's still waiting for me.

"Alan, make arrangements for her to be reinstated back to her previous job," I said.

"Ok"

Alan looked at the supervisor with a frown and asked her to follow him to the HR department for reinstalling her back.

After sorting out the supervisor's matter, I asked my bestie, "Babes, hope you're not planning on traveling anytime soon?"

"Babes, I'm not certain now but I might fly out to Asia when my papers are completed." She replied to me with a smile.

My bestie gave me a tight hug and thanked me for the shopping, "babes, I just got myself plenty of freebies all because of a discount. Hope it happens next time when we go to buy a car." "Haha.. you're mean babes, bye for now," I said and walked out to Alan and his team of guards.

We departed the mall and headed back to Damon's mansion.

It was visible on their faces that hell has been let loose if they get back to their boss.

"Why are you guy's so tensed up?" I asked Alan.

"Miss Katie, Damon will never let us escape unscathed for what happened back then." He said frantically.

"But it wasn't you people's fault right?" I asked not knowing how to react to the revelation.

"Damon has never loved anyone the way he does now. And all thanks to you for softening his devilish heart. And besides, he warned me to keep you safe from any form of danger."

I was so thrilled knowing have captivated his heart to the extent of dominating his now-and-then thinking.

"Alan, if you don't mind can you tell me more about Damon." I was hoping he would gladly start talking about his boss.

He was so adamant about not speaking about anything relating to his boss.

I was left with no other choice than to threaten him knowing fully well his boss wouldn't play over my safety.

"Alan, you either start talking now or see me telling your boss you hit me and called me a bitch."

He became frantically scared of what I just said and was about to say something but no words came out of his mouth.

"Ok miss Katie, what would you love to know about him?" He asked

"Uhm... let's start with his likes and dislikes. And ask those guy's speeding ahead to slow down because I'm not in a hurry." I said smiling.

"Damon, likes to keep his hands clean from every shady deal that will tarnish his image, he also likes to be pampered because he never experienced what it means to be pampered and loved by others," I interjected immediately after I heard the second thing Alan said.

"What happened during his childhood that he wasn't pampered?" I asked.

"Nobody knows anything about his childhood, just that he always says he wishes he could turn back the hands of time to be loved and experience love before you came into his life." Alan said and added, "should I continue or stop talking?" "Continue because you dare not stop," I said sarcastically.

"Hahaha........ can't wait to see how you would behave the day it will be my turn to place you in a tight corner," Alan replied also sarcastically.

"Ok, as I was saying earlier, he likes to spend extravagantly without minding even if it's worth the price or not and he likes you very much to the extent he doesn't mind going against the world to make you happy." He said smiling. "And for his dislikes, hmmm don't know where to start from."

"Start from the important one," I said.

"He dislikes when someone intentionally keeps lying to him and thinking his not aware of the happening, he also dislikes when someone tricked him into believing what's not true. Damon can take any and everything that is thrown at him, but he will never take lying, cheating, betrayals, and incompetence." He was looking straight into my eye's smiling when he was speaking.

I was in an obnoxious state of mind because of the way things are turning out. I was lost in thoughts thinking if my cover has been blown or if someone is snitching on me.

Alan snobbishly said, " less I forget, he dislikes eating alone when he's at home so whenever you're at home, whether you're hungry or not always join him in the dining area. Your pretty face makes him digest on time."

"Do I look like a clown that your boss could control as he dims fit?" I said angrily to Alan.

"Hahahha, I told you earlier I can't wait to see you in the tight corner. Damon is not someone you can offend or trifle on."

I was about to say something when he suddenly said,

"Miss Katie, we are all in your hands if not our heads will roll."

I was still processing what to say when then the car stopped abruptly.

I saw Damon standing outside the mansion with a cold expression on his face.

"You useless imbeciles, you dare allow someone hit her delicate face, I will kill all of you idiots. Who's there come over and kill all this good for nothing."

I was trying to compose myself but I heard one of the guards screaming in pain.

I instantly looked up and saw dozens of Damon's henchmen with iron batons trying to hit Alan and the rest guard.

"Stop that madness this instance" I shouted at them and they froze looking at Damon for a way out.

He waved at them to stop and leave us.
