That was a moment we just had. I feel my face flare up as I try not to look over at him. A logo I’ve never seen before comes up taking up the entire monitor space. “No.” I tighten my hold on his hands and for some strange reason I already know what my answer is and by the way he’s holding back laughing. He already does too. “So, bonding. Final confirmation,”

“Agreed,” he nods and reaches for me so he can pull me onto his lap. I straddle him.

“I just want to say that, I am so fucking proud of you right now,” laugh. “You’re a quicker study than I gave you credit for,”

“Well, I am learning from the best,” he laughs, “Do the thing,” he rocks his hips forward and I feel why he wants to hurry this up. “If he’s watching, he can get a full view of my ass,”

I remove my t–shirt and he doesn’t hesitate to remove his. His hands glide across my back as I wrap myself around him and release the hold on the beast. His mind immediately opens up for me.

What stands out immediately is his grief. I bury my face in his neck taking in his scent and letting his warmth and essence surround me. I feel bad as memories of the days that have come to pass flash in his head. He’s very upset for me.

The deeper I dive the more interesting things get. He’d been planning to take out the Wraith long before he proposed it to me. “Don’t-” I shake my head because I already saw it. If he says it out loud we’re both screwed. His hand lashes out to wrap around my throat. He pulls me up so we’re inches away from one another.
