The Fortune-Telling Heiress

Chapter 290

Chapter 290

"Harvey, you're back! What happened to you?" Tanya exclaimed in surprise.

Harvey was holding a handkerchief to his forehead, which was stained with blood. His clothes were in a terrible state.

"You're bleeding. Why haven't you treated your wound? Hurry up and go to the hospital!"

Harvey replied coldly, "I should go to the hospital."

He walked straight to Madison and cast a glance at Jason. "Let go of her!"

Jason quickly released his grip. "Harvey, you..."

"Serena, could you help take Maddie to the hospital?"

Only then did the Lockes notice a beautiful, gentle woman standing behind Harvey.

Serena nodded at them and quickly approached. She looked at Madison with concern. "Are you okay? Besides the injury on your arm, are you hurt anywhere else?"

Madison was still in shock.

She hadn't expected Harvey to come back.

She shook her head.

Serena sighed in relief. "Let's get you to the hospital."

Serena took Madison and started to leave.

"Harvey, you finally made it back! You missed my birthday party. You don't even know what happened! I was so scared!" Rebecca stood up. She was about to throw herself into Harvey's arms, but he blocked her with his hand. "...Harvey?"

Harvey let out a sigh. "I know what happened at the birthday party. With a livestream that big, how could I possibly miss it?"

Jason felt a bit intimidated by Harvey. He said softly, "Harvey, since you saw it, you should know what Madison did!

"She not only ruined Becky's highly anticipated birthday party but also embarrassed our family in front of so many people!"

Harvey sneered, "The one who embarrassed our family isn't Maddie; it's all of you. I didn't just watch the livestream. I also saw the scenes that happened before it."

Rebecca had invited many people from the entertainment industry, and these actors recorded plenty of videos at the start of the banquet. Those videos clearly showcased the entire party.

"You all deliberately made Madison look bad at the party. Isn't that embarrassing? Isn't Madison a member of our family?"

Ethan lounged on the couch with his legs crossed, fiddling with his phone. "Why did she have to compete with Becky at every turn? She thinks it's fun to overshadow her, doesn't she?"

Ethan didn't lift his head as he continued, "To me, no matter if it's ten Madisons, a hundred, or a thousand, they can't be compared to Becky! If there's blame, it's on her. I warned her long ago to behave and not provoke Becky, but she wouldn't listen. Whose fault is that? "If we don't teach her a lesson, she might really think she's the only daughter of the Locke family."

Harvey sneered and turned to Jason, asking in a deep voice, "Do you think the same way?"

Jason nervously swallowed under Harvey's gaze. "Harvey, it's not that we want to make Madison look bad; it's just that she went too far. You have no idea how she bullies Becky! Becky was in tears!"

Harvey pressed his hand against his forehead, unsure if it was the pain from the injury or the anger that was causing his headache. He gritted his teeth. "In that case, when the incident happened, why didn't any of you protect Maddie?"

Ethan shrugged. "She needs to learn a lesson. That way, she'll understand the consequences."

Jason whispered, "At that time, Becky was so scared. Of course, I had to protect her first!"

Harvey looked at his parents.

Facing their son's questioning gaze, William replied, "I was focused on your mother and didn't think that much..."

Harvey felt even more pain in his head.

"Have you all forgotten that Madison and Rebecca are the same age? They're both at an age that needs protection. They're both women! Mom and Dad, you haven't forgotten, right? Maddie is your biological daughter!" Chapter 291
