The Fortune-Telling Heiress

Chapter 294

Chapter 294

After Yara finished explaining, she quietly waited for Madison to say something.

She waited for a long time, but Madison didn't say a word.

Yara cautiously asked, "Madison, aren't you going to scold me?"

"Why would I scold you?"

"You reminded me so many times not to use the sentiment-sealing glass vial, but I went ahead and used it behind your back." Yara glanced at Madison's expression, noting that it hadn't shifted.

She tentatively continued, "Madison, are you really not angry?"

Madison shook her head. She looked down at her palm, feeling the flow of spiritual energy within her.

Sebastian's willpower was indeed incomparable to that of an ordinary person. His willpower had allowed her to replenish her spiritual energy directly. Though it hadn't reached its peak, she had regained about one-fifth of it. Unfortunately, this newfound spiritual energy would have to be returned.

Madison asked, "Where's the sentiment-sealing glass vial?"

"It's with Sebastian. He's in a coma but also staying in this hospital. He should've woken up by now. I'll have him bring it over for you to see later."

Just as she was speaking, an astral body entered through the door of the ward.

Yara's eyes widened in disbelief as she looked at the floating Sebastian. "No way! You..."

Sebastian replied, "It's nothing. Just a spiritual departure."

Yara let out a sigh of relief. "I knew it! You don't look like someone who would be on the verge of death over lost love!"

She patted Sebastian on the shoulder. "Don't worry, Madison has woken up now. She'll be able to help you with the sentiment-sealing glass vial soon." Sebastian nodded, his gaze slowly shifting to Madison.

Madison also looked up at him.

Yara bit her lip, her gaze darting back and forth between them.

After a long pause, she couldn't help but ask, "Um... Sebastian, do you still remember Madison?"

Sebastian nodded. "I remember. Every single thing."

"Then... do you feel anything special?"

Sebastian shook his head. "No."

Yara pondered, rubbing her chin in confusion. "Could it be that the sentiment-sealing glass vial didn't work? No, that can't be...."

If it hadn't worked, then Madison's spiritual energy wouldn't have been able to recover.

"Yara, I'd like to talk to Sebastian alone."

"Okay, I understand."

Yara floated out of the ward, casting a glance at the couple still embracing each other outside before shaking her head.

What a world they lived in!

They were hugging and cuddling in public without thinking about the single folks!

The ward fell silent.

hasn't recovered?"

Sebastian's gaze moved from Madison's face to her feet, then slowly inched back up. He furrowed his brows together. "Your spiritual energy

"It has," Madison clarified. "But I was injured before it could fully recover."

Sebastian pressed his lips together and sat down in a nearby chair. "Why didn't you tell me when things got this serious?"

"I didn't want you to give up your feelings because of me."

At her words, Sebastian's brows furrowed even deeper.

His pupils, already in a ghost state, shrank to the size of a needlepoint.

He looked at Madison with a disapproving expression. "Madison, have you thought about what would happen if you died?"

Madison remained silent.

"If that was really your tribulation and you died, my feelings would've led to nowhere. If you died, would I ever be able to return to my physical body without your spiritual support?"
